Background and Challenges
FACSA has entrusted the design and implementation of Control Center in Castellon (Spain) to GESAB. They needed to have a working tool in line with its commitment to innovation and technological development, so that the design, adaptability to their own needs future of the control room was key. This center is the key point for managing the water service offeringto thousands of people, being therefore a step in the way they work for maximum customer satisfaction.
For a long time, the development of the layout was being worked on, since the physical situation of the control room itself was modified several times. However, the solution was clear and finally an Advantis NG curved control console was chosen for 3 operators with 9 TFTs and a 3×1 rear-projection display system with a front panel. A KVM system was incorporated for the control center that allows the extension of the video signal from 4 computers with double monitor output to the control room. The system allows an operator to control 6 PCs from a single keyboard and mouse, a second operator a dual-monitor PC and a third operator 1 PC with 1 monitor.
From the point of view of interior design, ceilings, floors and lighting were built according to the corporate image of FACSA.
The turnkey solution offered by GESAB guided FACSA at all times to achieve its objectives, meeting its requirements and needs at all times and providing great added value in the global solution, both in the adaptation of technical furniture to the space, such as the visualization technological solution and the personalized environment.
