A second control center for the management of the Ministry’s assets, four years after implementing the first one.
After carrying out a first state-of-the-art control center four years ago for the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the United Arab Emirates and achieving the result requested by those responsible, the public entity requested our partner in the region Martin Professional Middle East, to develop a new project.
In this way, the team began the process of design and implementation of a new highly technological and cutting-edge turnkey control center, for the management of the processes and systems controlled by the Ministry’s operators, as they needed to expand their capacity.
Turnkey project
The design of the critical environment was carried out following international ergonomics standards for control centers, which help to take care of the health and safety of the operators.
Thus, the new room is composed of 16 operating positions divided into two large Advantis NG control consoles with 8 positions each, offering a spacious feeling in the space and a highly ergonomic working environment. One more console with a single operating position was placed at the back of the room, from where the person in charge of the room can observe the work of the operators and make quicker decision-making in the face of critical events.
The control consoles were customised with the Ministry’s logo on their sides and complemented with Humanscale Freedom 24/7 ergonomic chairs.
A large Aura Vision videowall allows the operators to carry out the control and global management of the assets from their positions.
Next to the control room, a crisis room was implemented, which has a multimedia meeting table with retractable Arthur Holm screens and a state-of-the-art multimedia conference system that facilitates and promotes communication, appropriate decision-making and understanding in crisis situations.

The final result is a state-of-the-art critical environment that enables operators to carry out the control and management of the Ministry’s resources in an ergonomic and healthy way.
