The Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum contacted GESAB to develop the project of yhe renovation of the control room. That space, intended for security control and transit of the entire enclosure, needed to update both its furniture and its management system so that the operators could carry out their work in a more dynamic and effective way.

The project specifications only indicated its need for updating, so the GESAB experts decided to propose the solutions that could best fit the needs of the client. Thereby, the client decided to visit the GESAB showroom located in the Madrid facilities to get to know in first-hand the technical solutons and the products that they could offer, so they allowed themselves to be guided and advised on which control console could be the most appropriate.
Advantis NG for the organization of equipment
This resulted in the implementation of the Advantis New Generation model for two workspaces with ergonomic supports for 24/7 critical environments. This technical furniture convinced the client due to its robustness, as well as for the ease of inclusion of the equipment and the organization of the wiring in the large central beam.
Not only they wanted to update the control console, but also the information management system of the operators. For this reason, GESAB implemented a new KVM system that will make the daily tasks more easy for the operators making their work more efficient.

Finally, the floor of the control room was changed with the aim of implementing a more durable one according to the needs of the space. That change, in addition to that of the control console and the KVM system, was carried out hot, that is, without the operators being able to leave their workstations.
A fully satisfactory end result
The final result is a control room with fully ergonomic features for the development of a task 24/7 with a management system that facilitates efficiency and effectiveness. Those responsible for the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum project were fully satisfied with both the GESAB professionals and their proposal, knowing that it will be a room that will remain in perfect condition for a long time.
