A new control center consisting of a control room and a crisis room was the project requested by a leading telecommunications company in Spain to carry out security and control procedures.
Confidence and experience to develop the project
The company knew our team and its extensive experience in the market since it had previously worked with us, so they did not hesitate to ask us for security engineering to develop the design that would house the new control center, moved from another location that had to be abandoned. in the shortest possible time.
In the design process, they were helped to select the most appropriate colors for the space that could offer a feeling of well-being to the operators who would work there 24/7 through simple lines and light colors. Since the room was large, it was necessary to avoid acoustic disturbances, so sound-absorbing panels were implemented. In addition, the columns were covered with stainless steel, a special material that gives the entire environment a different and more modern appearance. Finally, the corporate image was respected at all times, including company colors and logos.
Large custom technical furniture
The control center was to house 20 operators located in different technical furniture units.
Its selection was a task that was carried out conscientiously, since it had to be taken into account that one of them was going to have 9 positions in a single line, so Advantis NG control consoles with long beams and avoiding legs were implemented. intermediate that could hinder the ergonomics of the space. In addition, being a console prepared for high-performance 24/7 environments, the sides were completely wired with the company’s requirements using different power lines to avoid possible losses. Four consoles were also implemented for 2 operating positions and another for three positions, completing the total number of operators.
The project included 24-hour ergonomic chairs and special personalized bucks, since the upper part is designed to act as a stool if necessary.
A functional and elegant crisis room
The crisis room, adjacent to the control room, was also implemented through a 100% customized design for the client.
The team decided to implement a meeting table from the MEET Series given its aesthetic of pure, simple lines and minimalist design that gives the space the elegance that was sought. Designed in large size, it allows you to locate 14 positions and a large central beam for the possible placement of power strips and wiring if necessary.
A large screen presides over the room for which we had to design a custom totem that would house the equipment inside, respecting at all times the aesthetics of the room.
The room has cabinets on the sides of a size and appearance customized to the client’s technical requirements, both on an aesthetic level with its corporate colors and on a technical level, since they contain AV equipment inside that controls the home automation of the room as is. the microphone and the connection to the big screen.
A satisfactory and efficient final result
The entire project was developed within the planned deadlines, which were really tight since the space had to be relocated in a short time, for which the GESAB architecture and technology team, together with those responsible for the project at the client, worked together fluid and collaborative, and can seem like a single team at certain times.
