Seven years have passed since GESAB started working together with Martin Pro Middle East in the Middle East control center market; a partnership that has allowed these two complementary companies and leader in their respective sectors to opt for great projects from several organizations, both public and private, since they jointly executed their first project in December 2013 in Saudi Arabia.
GESAB had previously executed projects sporadically in this part of the world thanks to the specification of some Spanish consultants and integrators, so that its association with Martin Pro ME, a leading company in Middle East with more than 20 years of experience in personalized audio-visual solutions and high-end professional lighting, allowed them to make a permanent and continued niche in the market.
In words of Fernando Cajal, International Sales Director of GESAB, “The support, availability and professionalism of Martin Pro, as well as their unlimited portfolio of integrators have been crucial elements to have gone so far in our business plan in the Middle East. The close relationship of trust with their powerful team is a proof that the projects carried out so far have been a success.”
Only during the year 2020 the number of projects that we have together carried out has been very substantial. The Martin Pro ME support and knowledge of the market have been fundamental for the development of all the executed projects during these seven years, among which are the Al Ula 911 Control Center or the Comand and Control Center of 911 of Meca, both cities belonging to Saudi Arabia; but has to be also mentioned the implementation of a modern VIP Conference Room with 100% custom technical furniture and high-end audio-visual equipment at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University in Saudi Arabia or the Control Center with KVM DeskWall system in Nedaa, Professional Corporation of Telecommunications in Dubai.

Since Martin Pro Middle East does not work as a typical distributor or consultant, but they offer the client a value-added support throughout all the project development -from the product and render presentation, to implementation and integration of the furniture and all the systems as well as after-sales service- their installers have been properly trained and certified by GESAB in Spain. In this way, they are able to carry out the installation of control consoles or DeskWall, the dynamic KVM system designed by GESAB that allows operators manage several equipment, as well as the videowall, from a single keyboard and mouse through the multi-canvas system.
This is essential so that the implementation of the control center does not stopped or hampered by distance and that all systems are integrated at the same time together with technical furniture, a fact that has been so helpful in the complicated situation lived in 2020 and that continues in this new year.
Local presence for any business is essential, but in the case of the solutions for critical environments that GESAB offers it is even more. Thus, it was decided to establish a showroom and an “experience center” in the facilities that Martin Pro ME has both in Dubai and in Riyadh, allowing this way interested clients seeing in first-person different models of technical furniture for their control center, as well as the high-quality of manufacture and its ergonomics, in addition of the various audio-visual solutions with which complement the space to make it 100% operational, including demos of the KVM DeskWall system. This offers GESAB an added-value, due to customers of Middle East can discover on site its products and services.

“What is to come looks very exciting. As audio-visual solution providers, we find it an amazing opportunity to work on the most luxurious projects in the Middle East with a team of professional technical furniture providers.” says Bilal Assidi, Sales Manager en Martin Pro ME.
The future that awaits the GESAB – Martin Pro Middle East partnership looks very positive, since there are many projects that are already carrying out together -and those that are yet to come- also, free informative webinar sessions are being prepared for integrators, consultants and other clients about relevant aspects of 24/7 critical environments.
