Having an ergonomic environment is key to prevent “Sick Office Syndrome”

A sedentary lifestyle and lack of mobility resulting from working for long hours at a computer can cause different conditions. Sitting for too long , having poor posture, have an inapproriate table, poor lighting and air conditioning cause, with the passage of time, a lot of inconvenience to people from poor circulation, muscle and joint ailments or damage eyes.

According to a study by the Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia, 50 % of people working in an office have postural problems related to the ergonomics of their workstations. To prevent this situation, which affects both the health of workers and their productivity in their daily tasks, and therefore the profitability of the company, it is important to have an ergonomic work environment, where you have a stance appropriate when sitting, watching computer screen and handle all the necessary equipment, as well as review other aspects such as HVAC .
